This is the second square in a series of 5" squares I'm incorporating into a Winter White Samplerghan. I named this square "Frosty Pond". Enjoy!
Materials:
1/2 oz. white worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver)
Size H crochet hook
Size: 5" square
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, sl st in ring, ch 4, work 15 trc in ring, join w sl st in top of beg ch 4 (16 trc).
Rnd 2: Ch 4, trc in same sp, 2 trc in next trc and in each trc around, join as before (32 trc).
Rnd 3: Ch 4, (trc, ch 2, 2 trc) in same sp, trc in next 7 trc, * (2 trc, ch 2, 2 trc) in next trc, trc in next 7 trc, rep from * around, join as before, fo (44 trc, 4 ch 2 sp).
Weave in ends.
